For Chanelle, Ikonic Destinations brings together the things she has always been naturally drawn to — travel, beautiful places, seriously good food and wine, wellbeing, great people and experiences that feel a little bit special.
Her background spans high-end hospitality and guest services, 10 years in real estate, and more than a decade in business consulting and facilitation — all careers built around people, relationships and bringing ideas to life.
Today, Chanelle leads the curation personally — exploring destinations, building relationships with exceptional local businesses and seeking out the details that make somewhere worth travelling for.

Does it cost anything to have an initial chat?
No. We’ll start with a complimentary 20-minute discovery call to hear what you’re thinking, learn a little about your group and see whether Ikonic Destinations is the right fit.
What happens if I want to go ahead?
If you’d like us to create a bespoke experience for your group, a planning and curation fee is payable before we get started. This covers the initial time and expertise involved in researching, designing and developing your experience.
Do I need to know exactly what I want?
Not at all. You might arrive with a destination and seventeen ideas — or simply know you want to take a group somewhere amazing. We’ll help you shape it from there.
Are your experiences pre-designed or created just for us?
Both. We create signature group experiences within each destination, from food and wine tours and wellness days to adventure, culture and local experiences. If you want something completely your own, we can create a bespoke experience around your group, interests, budget and reason for travelling. For now, start with an enquiry and we’ll talk through what’s possible.
What size groups do you work with?
Generally, 10–50 people, depending on the experience. Retreats are typically more intimate at around 10–20 people, while experience days, celebrations and other group experiences can accommodate larger groups where the venues, transport and activities allow.
Where do you currently create experiences?
We’re currently curating in Canterbury, with Queenstown & Central Otago coming soon and Bali planned for 2027.
